Jamie W. Hall is a British baritone, composer, conductor and vocal coach, a true all-rounder with a passion for all things choral.
His 2024 season has included performing as Pilate in a televised performance of Bach’s St John Passion with Gareth Malone; and appearances as soloist with the London Philharmonic Orchestra and at the Three Choirs Festival. His compositions have been performed by Ora, Genesis Sixteen, Sonoro, Home Choir and the BBC Singers, and he has brand new works in the pipeline, including a set of Preces & Responses, to be performed live during BBC Radio 3’s Choral Evensong on October 2nd; a concert-length choral song cycle for the BBC Singers, and a number of new carols which will be given premiere performances by the professional ensemble Cor Meum which Jamie will conduct.
Jamie is in his fifteenth year as a member of the world-famous BBC Singers and continues to work as conductor and coach to choral groups of all kinds, up and down the country.
